This full-house transformation blended Japandi elegance with family-friendly functionality.
Upstairs, we reconfigured bedrooms to create better proportions and added an office with garden views. The master suite now features a luxurious ensuite with bespoke details, including a level-threshold shower, custom headboard, and deep walnut tones. A second bedroom gained a stylish new ensuite with fluted blue tiles and a modern bidet WC.
Downstairs, we unified the spaces with consistent paintwork and clever zoning using mirrors, furniture, and a metal room divider. My client’s son is in a wheelchair, which made it vitally important to make the ground floor accessible; the doorways were widened and level thresholds were added to allow easy garden access, and all furniture was carefully positioned to allow easy access throughout. The lounge was transformed with acoustic slat panels, rich greens, and a bespoke media unit.
We sourced all furniture throughout the home to match the Japandi aesthetic and refurbished key pieces. Finishing touches included electric blinds, soft furnishings, and integrated air conditioning for year-round comfort.
This project was a rewarding result, allowing us to use thoughtful design, clever problem-solving, and a trusted team of trades, which resulted in a high-end, stylish, and inclusive home.
