We were asked to design a café interior that would feel both elegant and welcoming. The brief was to create a space that showcased baked goods beautifully while encouraging customers to sit, relax, and enjoy the atmosphere.
There were several factors to consider with this project. The café needed a clear and attractive display area for fresh bread, cakes, and pastries while maintaining smooth circulation for both staff and customers. Natural light was an important part of the design, so we maximised the impact of the large feature windows, balancing this with soft interior lighting for a cosy ambience in the evenings. The choice of patterned tiles, marble counters, and wooden furniture was key to achieving a look that feels stylish yet approachable.
Harmony Design produced a full interior layout along with CGI visuals to demonstrate how every element would work together — from the flow behind the counter to the seating arrangements by the windows. The design is not only functional for daily service but also reflects the client’s brand identity, offering a space that draws people in and encourages them to return.
